I like everything just wish it would track pace and distance as well.
I have used this whole bundle, starting as a total couch potato. They are great apps. I use them with Runkeeper so that I can track distance and speed.
This is a great app for anyone training for a half marathon! Its easy to use and great for any type of runner from beginner to advanced.
I used this app to train for my first half marathon over the course of 3 months. It works well with RunKeeper and iTunes during your workout. This app challenges you just enough each week so you can achieve your goals without hurting yourself.
Ive ran and complete several races but its been a tough year and needed something to keep me on track and with this app I feel obligated and motivated to do my runs!! Its been a blessing
First I should say Im a beginner runner who can easily do 6+ miles and am planning to do a half-marathon in 14 weeks. I figured this app would be perfect for me, I was wrong. Starting the app and using it is pretty easy and the interface is simple but its a little too simple and not entirely intuitive. The voice coaching only worked during 2 of the 5 markers which is terrible. I wasnt told when to go from a warm up walk to a run and then when to walk after my run or when my workout shouldve been over. The whole reason I bought this app was to concentrate on running not looking at my phone to see what I should be doing. I dont mind paying for an app if its going to be useful but $6 for this app and it didnt work was/is absurd. I would not recommend buying this to anyone I know.
No GPS tracking, really? Also, I cant really understand why week 1 has you doing (2) 60 minute runs when you arent getting up to that level of mileage until much later. Also, they only give you 1 day of rest after your first 60 minute run (week 1) but then TWO days of rest after the 30 minute run on day 3. Weird. I think it will serve its purpose though and get me prepped for the half in 12 weeks.
Before the latest update, I was depressed that the app didnt look like their other 5k and 10k apps. Now Im freaking pumped, and using this app to prepare for the Hood To Coast Relay in Oregon.
Week #2 training for 1/2 marathon in October! Kudos to the company to getting me more motivated than ever! Keep em coming
I lost 88 pounds last year and thought about doing the Disney Wine and Dine and with the app its making it very possible.
Great app. I use the 10K app to train last year. Exceeded my goal. This year I used the half marathon app. I expect to exceed my goal again miss you. Especially injury free. Be at slowly takes you through your training. I would recommend.
So frustrated by this program, which randomly exits my runs. Finish a run...pick up iPhone, run app exits run and data lost. Looking for new app, and have learned to rely on look at clock before and after runs method. :(
Well-designed and easy-to-use. The app seems to track distance and calories pretty accurately. Vocal cues make it easy to transition between segments without having to look at your phone. I also like the suggestions for strength/stretching on cross-training days.
Great training aid for a half marathon, I follow the app runs pretty closely. I missed a few runs but not much. I ended up running a half marathon in 154 minutes with 8:45 per mile pace.
Very nice program that gradually gets to you ready for a half marathon. Easy to use with good functions, integrating access to music playlists. Stores your run routes recorded by GPS. A few glitches here and there but overall very very good. For anyone who can do a 10k, this will get you to 21k in a fun and rewarding way.
I never write reviews, but I am on week 11of using this app and run my half next week. This app has been key in my training. It is clean cut, responsive, easy to use and right on target with where I need to be for race day. I recommend this to friends and they have loved it too. Good luck with your training and my this app help you along your running journey!
About two years ago I had no physical condition and downloaded the 5k app. Ever since I havent stopped! Now Im running a half marathon. Great apps, totally recommend them!
I love it but I wish it told me pace per mile/miles per workout.
I began using the 0-5k app with the same creator of this app. It took me from the couch to my 1st 5k. Then, I used the 5k-10k trainer and was able to run my first 10k. Now, I am using the 21k app to train for a half marathon. Before these apps, I couldnt run more than 2 miles without side cramping, pain in breathing...and I never was able to make any real progress. Now, I am running long distances regularly. Super easy to use. Works great with your music playlist. Progresses you at a reasonable pace so that ordinary people can become runners. Highly recommended!
