Good but would be better with gps

Overall good app to transition from 10k distance to half marathon. It would be nice if it would sync to maps or gps to give you an estimate on your distance. Music controls within the app are a welcome feature.

AWFUL APP!

This is quite possibly the most useless training application out there. All it is a glorified timer. It does not pace you, track your miles/kilometers, show your route, your progress, or ANYTHING. Its also suppose to let you know when youre are at your half way point, and it doesnt. And if you play music through it the volume is skewed and it keeps repeating the same song. Dont waste your time with this one. The fact they charge $6 for it is an absolute joke.

Run an hour on day 1?!

The first thing this app tells you when opened is you should be able to do a 10k. If not it advises you to buy their 10k app first (after you already paid for this one). I was hoping for a training plan to get me ready for a half marathon through this app but now Im thinking I wasted the money. I have ran several 5ks and have done duathlons just never a 10k. I guess time will tell if this app is ok for me but that initial notice should be in the overview. Not a FYI once youve paid!

It does everything it promises. Be sure you can run 10k when you start (just like the app description says)!

I have had a number of surgeries on knees and tendon injuries. This series, starting with the 10k, helped me get back into running without going too far, too fast. I never ran with music before and am really enjoying using a running playlist. I do wish it encorporated some speed work. I have the 5k, 10k, 10kforever, and 21k. The 10k app was my favorite but I am just beginning to use this one.

Solid Running App!!!

Since taking up running in January, I have used several running apps. This is a solid running app that takes you along at a decent pace toward your time or distance goal.

Great next step

After using 5K trainer, 5K Forever & 10K trainer this was the next logical step. These apps have literally taken me from the couch ant to training for a half-marathon over the past year and a half. It has completely changed my health and well-being.

very disappointed! With I could RETURN!

I am very disappointed with this app, I wish I could return it. It does not track your pace, your progress, it also doesnt have a calendar to make it easier to schedule your days. I trusted the reviews and the stars and did research on their website, from the outside it looked great, once I experienced it for myself it was awful! I am upset that I downloaded this app, and even more upset that I paid $5.99 for it!

Must have for half marathon training!!

My wife and I have been running for a few years now. Nothing crazy but I got to say, if it were not for clear sky apps making such an amazing set of apps, we would probably have not been able to run our first half marathon in downtown Nashville. A must buy app for running!!!!

I love the whole series of couch to K. Just started the 21k. Hope for the same results as the 10k.

Good app

I switched to this app after I started to hate the one I was using. The previous app had me doing the same workout three times/week in the beginning that was fine but as distance increased it was too much. This app has you do 2 - 30 min runs, a 36 min run and one long run each week. The long run increases each week. This is working much better for me. The volume of the notifications is very good, very easy to hear. There are a couple things that could be improved. I wish it automatically marked them complete when you finish the workout. It would be nice if it tracked pace and distance but I just use Run Keeper simultaneously for that. The only other thing is it goes by time rather than distance. Im not a fast runner so for me to get close to a half marathon distance in time Im going to have to extend the time on the long runs some.

Just as I loved the 5k, 21k works great! I love the high and low runs. Stick with it and youll be running halves in no time!

Not that great

Very few audio coaching. Wasted money. Some apps are free with much more features

Helped me train for 2 halfs

Love this app! I started training with the 10k program from next to nothing, and successfully made it to my first half within 9 months! Ive since used it for another race. The timed runs helped me pace myself like running for distance doesnt. It works well with my gps and music, too. Love it!

Worked for me!

I just completed my first 1/2 marathon yesterday thanks to this fantastic training app. I loved training with this app and it totally prepared me for my race.

Great and motivating

Doesnt have GPS and doesnt track your run, but I use MapMyRun simultaneously. I like the mix of short runs, long runs and rest days.

I like this app! I disagree with any ratings that complain about the "must be able to run a 10k" aspect of this app. If you cant run a 10k, train for a 10k or get a couch to half marathon app. The only complaint I have is that there really is no coaching except a disembodied voice saying warm up, run,halfway point,walk....other than that, I like it!

LOVE IT!

Love this and the 10K Runner that led me up to it. Im 40 years old and have never been a runner, wouldnt have run even if someone were chasing me :) and now Im able to run a 10K and well on my way to a half marathon!
